Rosie Lee Guthrie Roden, age 80, of Tuscumbia, passed away July 15, 2020. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 20, at 11:00 a.m. at Vandiver Hollow Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at noon with Brother Jerry Balentine, officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Roden; parents, Wayne and Ruby Guthrie; son, Marshall Terry Wooten; daughter, Debra Roden Hamm; grandson, Kenneth Clay Roden, Jr., sister, Martha Gray; brothers, J.W. and Tommy Guthrie; and best friend, Adjal Willington Lovett.

She is survived by her daughter, Latricia Todd; sons, Kenneth Roden, Sr., Douglas Roden, and Thomas Roden (Tammy); sister, Edna Hunt (Frank); special sister-in-law, Betty Roden Hallmark; grandsons, David “Moe” Hamm (Stephanie), Dustin Todd, Derek Todd (Theresha), and Andrew Roden; granddaughters, Emma and Abby Roden, Delisha Lacey, Andrea Williford (Dustin), Tara Firth (Jeremy), Amanda Terry (Pruitt), Ashley Hamm, Kasey Roden, and Taylor Romans; great-grandchildren, Cain and Sebastian Todd, Maci Bates, Bentlee and Brionna Terry, Charlee Roden, Vayda Williford, Blake Hamm (Eglashia), Aubrey Byrd, Rose and Rhett Messar, and Payton, Lucas, Piper, Pacey Firth; great-great-grandchild Lucas Hamm; and many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved dearly.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Moore, Troy Hunt, Buddy Hunt, Craig Hunt, Dewayne Roden, and Michael Peden.

She loved riding in the country, loved to talk, and adored her children, who considered her their best friend and hero.
