Neal Ray Williams, age 85, of Florence, passed away August 26, 2020. A celebration of his life, with military honors, will be held on Monday, August 31, at 1:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Opal Williams; brothers, Larry Williams and Alfred James Williams, Jr.; and sisters, Sue Berry and Madeline Bevis.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Sue Beadle Williams; children, Donna Bogus, Timothy Ray Williams, Linda Beadle, Gary Bentley, Cathy Bentley, Jimmy Bentley and Carolyn Williams; grandchildren, Ashley Montgomery, Audrey Montgomery, Tiffany Rogers, Ronnie Balentine, Jr., Shawn Balentine, Doug Balentine, Trevor Balentine, Misty Thigpen, Aron Thigpen, Johnathan Ward, Jennifer Thigpen, and Erik Parrish; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Kendall Rogers; and brother, Dale Williams.

Mr. Williams was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was an electrician and a proud member of the IBEW Local 558. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cook-outs and sitting on the front porch, swinging and watching the squirrels playing in the yard.
