Jessie James Barnett, age 57, of Florence, passed away October 3, 2020. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 6, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at One Lost Sheep Cemetery (formerly Lindsey’s Chapel).

Mr. Barnett was preceded in death by his mother, Freda Pruitt, father, Andrew E. Barnett, and brother, Bobby Barnett.

Survivors include his siblings, Freda Barnett, Teddy Barnett, Linda Lofton, Chlorise Lee and Lisa Reeves; and nieces and nephews, Andy Compton (Lacy), Brittaney Ivy (J.J.), Brandon Ivy (Hope), April Mielke (Paul) and Terry Lee (Alex).

Mr. Barnett loved walking, watching television, and hugs.   He was always smiling.
