James Michael Fox, age 58, of Florence, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020.  His family will receive friends on Sunday, November 22, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church of Florence.  The funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Brother Jeremy Goss officiating.  Burial will be at Central Community Cemetery.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, James Doyle Fox.

Survivors include his mother, Sarah L. Wilhite; children, Michael Lance Fox (Meagan), James Matthew Fox (Samantha), and Brady Clayton Fox (Anne Marie); grandchildren, Madison Brooke Fox, Macie Kate Fox, Avery Caroline Fox, Asher Malone Fox, Julianna Paisley Fox, Emmalyn Ruth Fox, and Abigail Katherine Fox;  companion, Valerie Dawn Rickard and her children, Hannah, Kaylee, and Sarah Grace; sister, Tina Isbell (Jeff); nieces, Shayna Goss (Jeremy), Erin Isbell, Madison Isbell; great-niece, Addisyn Goss; and great-nephew Cameron Goss.

Michael always put other people before himself.  He loved telling jokes, golfing and Alabama football.  His granddaughters were his world!
