Sharon Sue Barnett “Yank” was born on December 28th, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois and went to be with the lord on November 27th, 2020. She was proceeded in death by her parents Hollis and Christine Barnett, granddaughter Christine Alex and several siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Crystal Foster, Jessica Bass, (Frankie) Jennifer Elam, (Chuck) and Whitney Shoemaker (Jordan) Her brother, Ronnie Hogue (Elsie) Her grandchildren, Santana, Annika, Jaycie, Jacob, Scout, and Katelyn with soon to be great grandbaby. Her pallbearers will be her son in-laws and grandson. Sharon loved to cook big meals for the family, she was a lover of animals and fostered very many pets. She loved to decorate for the holidays especially the Christmas Village she would put together for many years. She loved to take care of others and enjoyed her job very much as an ICU nurse for many years at Humana and Shoals Hospital.  Sharon wrote several poems and notes including one to her mother that we cherished dearly, she mentioned walking hand in hand as her mother lead her up to heaven and shall never part. Sharon was loved deeply and will be missed very much.
