Edna Louise White age 88, of Florence, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020. A graveside service will be Friday, August 7th at 11:00 am at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Louis and Ollie Edna Eaton; husband of 31 years, Herbert Gloy White; brothers Robert, Jimmie Lee, and Harry Leon Eaton.
Survivors are her children, Lynn Malone (Gary Carter) and Gary’s children Jennifer Hipps and John Carter, and grandchildren Sienna Hipps and Silas Carter; Rodney White (Paulette), grandson Nathan White, and Paulette’s children Linda Anderson, and Steve Anderson, Jr. (deceased) and grandchildren Kryshna Edwards, Jasmine Shelton, Jordan Anderson, Hanah Anderson and Kendra Chamblee; Janet Daugherty (Donnie) and Donnie’s children Rachael Haygood and Corey Daugherty (Angela) and grandchildren Hope, Harrison and Hayden Haygood, Cody Wilson (Morgan), Carter Daugherty and Abby Daugherty; and special friend of 50 years, Wanda Haddock.
Edna worked for ECM Hospital for over 15 years and most recently as receptionist at North Alabama Skills Center in Sheffield, Alabama. She was also a talented fiber artist and was a member of Shoals Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild for many years. Her favorite art pieces were hand embroidered and beaded items and she was happy to have one of her works juried into the Arts Alive Art Show in Florence a few years ago. She has many friends who were gifted with her artwork over the years and she got great pleasure in making beautiful things to give away. She was a Christian who devoted her life to her Lord, her husband and family. She treasured time with her family and friends.

Edna was one of the sweetest, kindest, most wonderful people I ever had the pleasure of knowing.
My heart goes out to her family. I know she will he missed so much .
