Stacey Hudson Hamner, 45, of Florence, AL passed away unexpectantly December 15, 2021. Stacey spent her life bringing joy and happiness into the lives of all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, involved mother with her children, a loving daughter, a big sister to her siblings, and an enthusiastic advocate for downtown Florence. As owner of Reclaimed Spirit, home and gift store, she created many works of art. Stacey was nominated for Alabama Retailer of the Year, and Times-Daily Reader’s Choice Award Unique Gift Shop and Home Décor. She was a graduate of the University of Alabama and taught design classes at the University of North Alabama. Stacey had many friends and cherished those special relationships. She will be very missed by all those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Rufus W. Hollis and grandmother, Weda W. Hollis of Sulligent, AL, grandfather J.E. Hudson and grandmother Mae Hudson of Iuka, MS.
Stacey is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ray “Ken” Hamner, daughters Harper and Claire, parents Jerry and Linda Hudson of Muscle Shoals, siblings, Brian (Kylie) Hudson of Jasper, TN, Katie (Bryan) Bauw of Muscle Shoals, AL and Kevin (Tosha) Hudson of Rogersville, AL.
A celebration of the joy she had for life will be held at St. James United Methodist Church, Florence, Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and reception following the service. Williams Funeral Home of Florence is directing.

So very sorry for this tremendous shock for her family and the community. God always has a plan and a reason and when it involves the talented young and very loved ones, we never really understand why. Prayers for each of you.
