Thelma Ann Hipps Gooch, age 70, of Florence, passed away January 29, 2022.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 5, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Gooch was preceded in death by her father, Porter S. Hipps; mother, Ozell Nettie Green; and son, Jerry A. Williams.

Survivors include her son, Nathan Williams; brother, Larry Hipps; and grandchild, Reyhan Aliyah Williams.

Mrs. Hipps was a 1974 graduate of Coffee High School.  She worked hard most of her life to support her family, for whom she would do anything.  She loved shopping, jewelry, and drinking coffee.  She was like a mother to her granddaughter, Reyhan and Reyhan loved her very much.  She is deeply missed and always will be.
