Bobbye Colleen Mitchell, age 89, of Florence, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022. Graveside service will be Sunday, October 2^nd at 1:00 pm at Bluewater Cemetery with Jeff and Chris Mitchell officiating. A visitation will be from 2:30 pm until 4:00 pm at Killen United Methodist Church Family Life Center following the graveside.

Bobbye was a member of Killen United Methodist Church, a Choir member and Sunday school teacher. She was a frequent volunteer of Killen Library, and  Florence Help Center. She also was an avid reader, loved collecting antiques and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert P.  and Tharzia I. Crunk; sister, Mary Ruth Crunk; brother, Donald P. Crunk.

Survivors are her husband, Charles Milton Mitchell; children, Robert Jeff Mitchell (Dawn), Charles Kimball Mitchell (Martha Lee), Milbry Colleen McCreless (Mac), Christopher Lance Mitchell (Jamie Lynn); siblings, Ann Hale, Dan Crunk (Charlotte), Jenny Owens (Charlie), and Sharon Henson (Lynn); grandchildren, Benjamin Mitchell, Sara Pifer, Luke Mitchell, Olivia Mitchell, Lauren Mitchell, Jacob Mitchell, Todd Sullivan, Chase Sullivan, Lance McCreless, Shanna McCreless, Lynsey Dunbar, and Jamin Mitchell; twenty one great-grandchildren. A special thanks to caregivers Tammy McNatt, Patricia Burbank, Killen United Methodist Church, and Hospice of North Alabama for the love and care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of choice.
