  1. A wonderful guy, great 56′ classmate, super musician, outstanding athletic and most of all, someone I’m proud to call a friend. We’ve all
lost something today……rest well Jimmy Joe…. not many of the great ones are left,
sincere condolences to lovely wife and family,

  2. Class of ’56. A truly talented piano player and football player. Always had a friendly hi and smile. Prayers for

  3. I had the pleasure of being Mr. Fago’s nurse for the last few months. I fell in love with his kind heart and sweetness. His family was so supportive and wanted him kept comfortable which is what we tried our best to do. He told stories of his high school days and how he met his sweet wife. Heaven gained an Angel when he passed. RIP Mr. Fago, I miss you already.

  4. We are so sorry to hear of Jimmy’s passing. We always looked forward to seeing you at Milner’s Chapel on decoration day and we have missed seeing you for the past two years. The two of you were a adorable couple and we join you in mourning the loss of one of the great ones.

  5. My husband worked as a steamfitter with Mr. Fago years ago and spoke so well of him. We never know all the beautiful footprints of respect and love we leave in the hearts and lives of those with whom we come in contact. Mr. Fago was so loved. Rest in peace sir.

  6. I didn’t know Mr. Fago, but I wish I had. Great smile! You can see that kind heart and sweetness his nurse mentioned. And I would have loved to hear him play the piano and that early rock and roll I grew up on. Prayers for peace and comfort for his wife and family.

  7. I had to come back and say if he lived on Riverview Drive, then I did know him! I lived there from 1974-1992 and used to jog to the end of the street several times a week. I think it is James who used to come out and bless me with treats from his garden 🙂
