William Louis Wall, age 84, of Florence, passed away October 17, 2023. A private graveside service will be held at St. Michaels Cemetery. Williams Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Wall was born January 23, 1939, in Decatur, Illinois, to William and Elva Wall. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Angelamaria Wall; brother, John Wall; and grandson, Liam Wall.

He is survived by his children, Dr. William Wall (Melanie) and Dr. Frank Wall (Tricia); sisters, Mary Allsup and Elva Ruth Anne Ferris; and granddaughter, Gianna Wall.

Mr. Wall graduated with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Cooper Union College for Architecture and Engineering in Manhattan, New York. He later retired from TVA. He was a rail fan (trains) and in his spare time enjoyed reading.
