Cecil Lamar Conner, age 81, of Florence, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023. There are no services scheduled at this time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edias and Ethel Conner; brother, Billy Martin conner.
Survivors are his wife, Barbara Whitley Conner; son, Alan Conner (Amy); daughters, Stacey Triplett (Darrell) and Kim Formby (Jeff); brother, Johnny L. Conner (Brenda); grandchildren, Ryan, Jake, Tanner, Karlee, Kolby, Luke, and Caitlyn; great-grandchildren, Conner and Jonesy.
Lamar retired with International Paper Company, formerly Champion International for over 22 years. He was an avid Alabama fan and loved fishing and playing golf. He was a devoted Christian.

Alan, I just found out about Mr. C’s passing. I always enjoyed talking with him at the golf course and speaking with him on the phone when he called to chat. He was a great friend! Condolences to you and your family.
