They enjoyed vacations to Disneyworld multiple times as well as trips to the beach and
mountains. She loved planning birthday parties and special celebrations at her home.
Sarah always wanted balloons at each event.
Sarah was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing delicious meals for her family and

I’m so sorry for your entire family. What a wonderful example of love you showed to your wife, mother, and grandmother throughout the years. I always enjoyed seeing pics of outing Y’all did or just cooking together in her kitchen. I remember our years of growing up together and in our church. Later in years, I enjoyed seeing both Bobby and Sarah during his time as Mayor or in recent years just seeing them downtown enjoying the community in Florence.
She will always be very fondly remembered by me.
Steve and I are sorry for the loss of this sweet lady,it always inspired me seeing her family out together such love you all have for one another. Always smiling she was and full of joy .God be with each one of you
She was spunky – loved that hand on hip in pictures. We know she will be missed by many, but especially you Jan & your sister this time of year when y’all all wore your cute aprons & cooked together. Our love & sympathy 💐 ❤️🩹 to all of your family.
Bobby and family, I am so sorry to hear about Sarah,
She was a very precious Christian Lady. I always enjoyed being around her,
May God comfort and strengthen you all at this time.
I always enjoyed seeing Sarah whenever it was shopping or picking up her grandchildren at the Dance Centre. She was always so happy which made me feel happy too. What a great warm and loving person.
Jean and I always enjoyed seeing Sarah at Florence events .She had such a great smile and a friendly hello .Fun to see her personality and her favorite hats .
I was standing in the open garage door surveying a mountain of unpacked boxes when Sarah walked up the driveway and introduced herself and welcomed me to the neighborhood and to Florence. She inquired as to the reason for my relocation and informed me that her husband was the mayor and to drop in on him anytime. We chatted for a bit then, with a wave, she continued on her way. As I watched her go I thought what a funny, kind and gracious lady. We continued to wave and chat over the passing years. In all that time my initial impression of Sarah never wavered. We shall miss Sarah’s presence in our lives.
