Madgie Pauline (Polly) Kelley, age 83, of Florence, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
Visitation will be Friday, June30th, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ronnie Pannell and Brother Herschel McFarlen officiating. Entombment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl (Buddy) Kelley, Jr.; parents, Arnold and Artie Cochran; brother, Thomas GB Cochran; sisters-in-law, Betty Hayes Slatton, Penny Sharp, and Alice Payne.
Survivors are her children, Debra Brown (David), Krystal Gray, Angela Sykes (Walter), Trey Kelley (Beth), Katrina Burgess, and a son-in-law Jeff Burgess; sister, Shirley Yarbrough; brother-in-law, Larry Kelley; sister-in-law, Martha Cochran; grandchildren, Ann Palmer (Brent), Shawn Murphy, Christopher Sykes (Sara), Chad Sykes (Erin), Will Kelley (Emily), John Kelley (Caroline), and Darby Burgess; great-grandchildren, Payton, Mackenzie, Landon, Bentley, Brooks, Emmie Beth, Cole, Carson, Turner, Trent, and Eli; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Polly had retired from U.N.A Physical Plant as an Executive Secretary in the maintenance Department. She was a lifelong member of Jackson Heights Church of Christ.
