Norman Dean Powers, age 60, of Florence, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his father, James M. Powers, and Dad, Marlin C. Hinds; grandparents, William P. and Laureen Powers and Willa Dean and Gerald Hicks.
Survivors are his mother, Barbara T. Hinds; sister, Stacy Powers Reeder (Montrell); uncle, Carl Wayne Turner (Vernice), and many cousins and special friends.
Norman was a Veteran Pilot of the U.S. Air Force. In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Wounded Worriers, American Cancer Society, or to a charity of choice. A celebration of life will be announced later.
