Adrian E.
Gruber
October 17, 1940 - February 23, 2024
Adrian E. Gruber, age 83, passed away on February 23, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Naomi Gruber; his brothers, Paul, Bernard, Marvin, Frank, Leander, Bill, Charlie, Randy, and Mike; and his sisters, Frances Yochim, Marie Myrick, and Juanita Cabler.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Connie Holt Gruber; daughter, Tamla Camille Tooker (Kevin); sisters, Betty Pettus, Barbara Higginbotham (Tommy), Carolyn Bracey, Martha Hamner (Mark), and Nerina Connolly (Bill); and many nieces and nephews.
Adrian was a member of Local 78 Insulators/Asbestos Workers Union and St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
He was a dedicated husband and father who loved nothing more than taking care of his family. An avid fisherman, he was known to share his catches generously with friends and family over the years.
To honor his wishes, services will not be held at this time. He wanted loved ones to celebrate his life and return to our Heavenly Father in their own way, whether that means offering a prayer or throwing a fishing line.
