Kelly Dwight Austin, 55, of Florence, passed away May 2, 2024. Visitation will be Monday, May 13 from 11:00 – 11:30 am at Williams Funeral Home in Florence. A memorial service will start at 11:30 with B. J. Price officiating.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dwight Austin; paternal grandparents, William and June Austin; maternal grandfather, Hoyt Vinson; and son, Cody Tyler Austin.

Kelly is survived by his mother, Brenda Austin; daughter, Rayme Carole Austin; brother, Alex Austin (Marnie); grandmother, Peggy Vinson; nephew, Evan Austin; uncle, Phillip Vinson and aunt, Anita Wilson (Doug).

Kelly was a member of Highland Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Bradshaw High School and UNA. Throughout his career he worked for The State of Alabama (Food Stamp Office) – Lauderdale County, Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department, and Books-A-Million Warehouse.
