Jamie Dwayne Thornton, 45, of Florence, passed away June 13, 2024. No services are planned at this time.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Geraldene and James Smith; uncle, Terry Smith; son, James Michael Thornton; nephew, Brandon Sammons.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Holly Thornton; parents, Nancy Holbrook and Michael Thornton; son, Devin Thornton; and daughter, Aughbrionnah Thornton. Additional survivors include sisters, Brandy Thornton and Christinna McCullough; step-sister, Sheena Rotten; step-brother, Jesse Holbrook; a very special aunt and uncle, Lisa and Gary Smith (that meant everything to him); several nieces and nephews.
Jamie enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
