William Thomas Staggs, Jr., (also known as “Old School”) age 52, of Florence, passed away of natural causes on June 20^th, 2024, at his residence.  He was a native of Illinois. A memorial visitation will  be Thursday, June 27 at Williams Funeral Home from 3:00 – 4:00 pm.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Courtney V. Staggs; and his parents, William T. Staggs and Ada E. Staggs.

Mr. Staggs is survived by his daughters, Aundrea Brooke Staggs, Laikyn Staggs, and Jayla Staggs; stepdaughters, Katari Edmondson and Myjai Barrett; and a step-grandchild.  Additional survivors include brothers, William H. Staggs (Mary), Allen Staggs (Vicky), Mike Staggs (Nancy), and David Staggs (Tonya); sisters, Anita Aday, Lessa Ragan (Terry), and Peggy Staggs; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Staggs was formerly employed at the Imperial Die Cast in Florence and self-employed.  He had a liking for scary movies, Dale Earnhardt, CB radios, and driving dump trucks.  He was also known as Charger, to a lot of people. He loved helping family and friends.  He liked working on automobiles.  He was loved by everyone.
