Tessa Maria Echols age 77, of Tuscumbia, passed away July 8, 2024.  Visitation will be Thursday, July 11 from 11:00 – 1:00 pm with a memorial service starting at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Florence with Tim Grigsby officiating.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Walter Echols; father, Milton Lee Knight; and mother, Ora Kyleen Summerall.

Tessa is survived by her children, William “Bryan” Echols, Georgeanna Lee Echols, and Johnny Neal Echols (Jala Leigh); and sister, Montez Knight.  Additional survivors include grandchildren, Chandler Scott Rickard, Patrick Bryan Echols, Hunter Lee Rickard, Walter Neal Echols, Owen Lee Echols and Emma Kate Echols; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Bryan Echols, and Aubree Anna-Raye Echols.

Tessa was a member of Lone Cedar Church of Christ (primary), Jackson Heights Church of Christ (prior to).  She loved singing, sewing and knitting.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
