Helen Marie May age 91, of Florence, passed away on September 24, 2024.  Visitation will be held on Friday September 27, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. till 1:30 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held private.

She is preceded by her husband of 55 years, Claude Carol May Jr.  Her parents, Thomas B. Brown and Bertha J. Brown.  Two daughters, Kathy Ann Aldridge and Carolyn Marie Fuller. And one brother Jerry Thomas Brown.

Helen is survived by three daughters, Judy Kay Hubbard (Tony), Tracy Carol May, and Carla Denise May. Her grandchildren, Nicholas Aldridge (Tiffany), Justin Aldridge, Hayley Gray (James), Hannah Holland (Justin), Allison Bibb (Derrick), and Zackary Duncan.  Her great grandchildren, Shelby and Macy Kate Aldridge, John Parker Aldridge, Hudson Gray, Baylor and Henley Holland, and Autumn Rose Bibb. As well as her beloved dog “Little Bit”.

Helen loved the outdoors, working in the yard, and so loved dogs.  She was advocate and supporter of the Humane Society (ASPCA), supporter of Saint Jude and the American Heart Association.
