Lynn Parsons Johnson of Florence, AL passed away on September 26, 2024, shortly after her 90^th birthday. She lived a full life and enjoyed traveling the world, playing bridge and spending time on the lake.   She loved learning about other cultures, visiting museums and admiring art.   Lynn owned a craft shop for 10 years called The House of Crafts.  Teaching art brought her so much joy.  She also sewed and did beautiful needlework.  Her artistic talents were limitless.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Florence, Turtle Point Country Club and had a huge heart for animals, having given many stray dogs a home over the years.

Lynn is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Johnson; and her parents Dr. and Mrs. William Chunn Parsons.

She is survived by her children, James Harwood “Woody” Johnson Jr. (Chizuko) of Tokyo, Japan; Elizabeth “Lisa” Johnson Bentley (Danny) of Birmingham, AL and Victoria “Vicki” Johnson Weatherby of Florence, AL; and her grandchildren, Claire Wright (Ryan), Mary Katherine Roberts (Josh), Will Weatherby, Nicholas Weatherby and Sakura Johnson.   Along with her great grandchildren, Mary Margaret Roberts, Harper Wright, Olivia Wright and James Roberts.
