Kenneth “Kace” Carmack Franks III, age 35, of Florence, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 20^th at 2:00 pm at St. Florian Park Shelter.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laurie A. Burns; maternal grandparents, Chris and Christine Burns; paternal grandparents, Kenneth Franks, Sr., Joyce and Yeat Stutts.

Survivors are his father, Kenneth C. Franks, Jr.; stepmother, Rita Franks; maternal grandmother, Patricia Burns; sister, Allison Franks; stepsiblings, Maleah Moss (Dallas) and Ethan Smith (Emily); aunt, Cynthia Franks.

Kace was a 2007 graduate of Florence High School, attained a B.S. degree at Birmingham Southern College in 2011 and was employed with L.P. Brown Company in Florence, Alabama. He enjoyed playing golf and disc golf.
