Susie Lee White, age 90, of Florence, passed away November 14, 2024.  Services and visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Home.  There will be two visitations, Saturday evening November 16, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and on Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 12:00 P.M until service time at 2:00 P.M in the funeral home chapel, with Dwayne McDuff officiating.  Burial will be private in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Daniel McCrory, David McCrory, Derrek Colley, Chad Brewer, Marlon White, and Ronnie Hunt.  Honorary pall bearers will be Reece Brewer, Finn Brewer, Mason Colley and Andrew Highfield.

She is preceded by her husband of Clifford White of 58 yrs, and two son-in-law’s, Don McCrory and Carroll McClanahan.

Susie is survived by her two children: Rex White (Suzanne) and Debbie McClanahan, and one brother-in-law, Robert White (Joyce). Four grandchildren: Daniel McCrory (Wanda), Ginger Brewer (Chad), David McCrory and Jade Colley (Derrek).  Two step grandchildren, Katrina Chambers (Lee) and Mariah Highfield.  Seven great grandchildren: Anna, Reece, Finn, Mason, Abby, Courtney and Andrew, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Susie was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her most.  She was a talented seamstress and quilt maker.  She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  She was a patron member of the CPW.  She sent many greeting cards through the card ministry at the church.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Susie’s caregivers, Martha Townsend, Priscilla Jimenez, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Hospice of North Alabama.
