James Lawrence Nichols, age 59, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Birdie Nichols; granddaughter, Abigal Nichols; sister, Phyllis Nichols.
Survivors are his wife, Marilyn Nichols; children, Chad Nichols (Alex), Luke Nichols, Amista Isbell (Christopher), Jessica McGee (Chris) and Rodney Stevenson; sisters, Linda Roberson, JoAnn Stokes, and Lindia Brumley; brother, Roger Nichols; grandchildren, Cameron, Cayson, Keanu, Julianna, Chloe, Aubrie, Paige, Braxton, Eli, Jolee, and Alli.
Lawrence was employed with Robbins Custom Woodwork for over 20 years. He was an avid Crimson Tide fan.

Joann an Amista so sorry for your loss I knew Lawrence from working with him at my ex husband’s wood shop. He was a great guy I’m sure he will be missed my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
I’m so sorry hearing this. Another 1st cousin lost way too soon. Marilyn, JoAnn, Lydia, Linda and Roger my thoughts and prayers are with you, especially during the hard days ahead. Rest in Peace sweet Lawrence. Love you all!
