Tony Reed
Olive

July 4, 1960 - February 17, 2024

Tony Reed Olive, age 63, of Florence, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024. Graveside service will be Tuesday, February 20th at 2:00 pm at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Entombment will follow. Pallbearers will be Gene Clements, Tim Creasy, Nick Agee, Gene and Stewart Clark, and James Porter. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad and Stanley Ramey.

He was preceded in death by his father, Reed Olive.

Survivors are his wife, Anne Olive; mother, Lurene Olive; sister, Tammy Landers (Tim); children, Albree and Justin Olive; loving pet “Barkley”.

Tony was one of those guys any would describe as “Bigger than life”, not only was he a big, strong guy, with an affable smile and personality, the guy could play! His homemade swing was solid and he hit the ball as well as anyone. He would spend time traveling to play golf tournaments all over, and we mean all over the place with his friends. He could find tournaments in the most obscure of places. He will be missed dearly by all of us. In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chris Burns Foundation.

  4. Ann, I am so heartbroken and Gary and I send sincere condolences to the family. As you know, Tony and I go a long way back and we had such a fun time working together at TPV. He was larger than life and always made me laugh! He loved you and the children so very much and praised the three of you often. He was at the entrance several days ago and I started to stop and talk for a minute and now I so wish I had! He was loved by so many people and he will be greatly missed! Lifting you and the children up in prayer with love as you grieve the loss of your rock. If Gary and I can do anything, please let us know.
