Devan Shane Wallace, age 29, of Florence, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024. A private visitation will be Thursday, February 22nd from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. A private service will be Friday, February 23rd at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Tim Tubbs officiating. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin, Kobey, Jess, Andy, Tasha, and Brittany; honorary pallbearers will be Jackson, Cash, Cruz, Bubba, Kayla, and Jamie.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Helen Davis.
Survivors are his mother, Dawn (moma) Moore; father, Shane Wallace (Crystal); paternal grandmother, Susan Hood; brother, Kevin Wallace, Kobey Allen (Chloe), Cash Wallace (Ashlyn), and Cruz Wallace Britton); sister, Brittany Brown and best friend, Tasha May; nieces Lilah and Blakelynn; nephew, Blu; special cousins, Mia and Maddie and a host of aunt, uncles and cousins that he loved. Also, he loved his special aunts, Lisa and Donna.
Devan was a very special person to all of us. He loved to aggravate and record us and just laugh about it. He was our rock and world. All of us were best friends, especially he and his brothers. They were inseparable. He loved us all, especially Mia, Maddie, and Lilah. He always loved buying them things and loved sharing things with them he loved. His heart was gold with no selfish bone in him. We as a family were always together and always had us laughing with stories about us that happen in the past. Devan loved rainy days, collecting different things, music, try news food together with family, He was a hard worker and had so much going for him. He was just a very special person that loved life and will be missed dearly.
