Nancy Jane Cox, age 74 passed away from this life on Saturday, February 24, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be Tuesday February 27, 2024 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The funeral will follow at 2 pm with Brother Dale Boren and brother Don Williams officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Miller Cox and mother, Margaret Virginia Hale Cox, and brother-in-law, Bobby Latchem, and special grandmother “Bones.”

Nancy is survived by her husband of 54 years Larry Cox; son, Jeffrey Cox, and wife, Sonya  & Jamie Cox. Grand children, Maggie Clifton, husband, Colton, and Matthew Cox, wife, Emily. Great grand children, Creed Clifton, Collier Clifton, Cooper Cox.

Sister, Peggy, Latcham, brother, Randy Cox, wife, Georgia, and Tim Cox, wife, Shannon.

Pallbearers will be Mike Jones, Greg Lawson, Joseph Rickard, Milton Kirby, Larry Phillips, Jerry Ashby. honorary pallbearer Tim Cox.

Nancy was a graduate of Coffee High School Class of 1967. She was a member of Florence Boulevard, Church Christ. She was a member of the Florence Senior Club. Retired from Walmart after 20 years. Nancy loved to go shopping at thrift stores, sitting on the porch or patio rocking and drinking coffee. She loved watching game shows and playing games especially playing games with her club family.  She loved watching Judge Judy. Besides her husband and children her greatest treasure was her Grandchildren, Maggie, and Matthew and great grandchildren Creed, Collier and Cooper.
