Charlotte Banks Maxwell, age 89, of Florence, passed away February 27, 2024, at North Alabama Medical Center. She is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann Fowler of Franklin, TN and son, Brian Craig (Julie) of Punta Gorda, FL; sister, Lynnda (Bob) Wagner of Brentwood, TN; sister-in-law, JoAn Banks of Muscle Shoals; three grandchildren, Courtney (Andrew) Cox, Cassidy Fowler, and Kylie Craig; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gerald Maxwell; parents, Lynn and Nell Banks; brother, Billy Banks; and sister, Marilyn Beaird.

     Charlotte was born in Jasper, AL. She was a member of the church of Christ. Special thanks to Renaissance Assisted Living, Brentwood Assisted Living, Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home, and family, friends, and caregivers for helping Charlotte through the years.

Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 on Saturday, March 2nd at Williams Funeral Home on Helton Drive. Private burial will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
