Connie Lyn Liverett, age 68, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024. A graveside service will be Wednesday, February 7th at 11:30 am at Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Colbert County with Brother J.D. Harrison officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve Alewine, Bob Wilhide, Jeremy Liverett, Craig Liverett, Brad Alewine, and Scot Black.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mable T. Shewmaker Coats and Marion Luther Shewmaker and Siles E. Coats; paternal grandparents, Vera Newton and Perry J. Liverett; brother, Chris A. Liverett.
Survivors are her parents, James “Lin” and Shirley H. Shewmaker Liverett; sisters, Vicki Alewine (Stefan) and Beverly Wilhide (Bob); 1 niece, 3 nephews, 4 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews.
Connie attended Ford City Baptist Church and was a graduate of University of North Alabama. She loved traveling, shopping and most of all, she loved her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews. In-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifeSouth Community Blood Centers. A special thanks to Dr. Jayani and staff at Ingram Center at Vanderbilt and Dr. Daugherty and Staff at CCI for their love and care.

Shirley and Lin, we are so sorry to hear of Connie’s illness and passing. Please know that our hearts go out to you and your family and our prayers are with you during this time of sorrow.
Our heartfelt condolences to the Liverett family. Although Connie is now out of sight , she will always be in your and our hearts .
