Gary Wayne Horton, age 75, of Tuscumbia, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at North Alabama Medical Center. Gary worked security for the Colbert County School System.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 10^th from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Chris Darby officiating. Burial will be at Community Cemetery.

Gary was proceeded in death by his parents, Alex and Hester; brothers, H.A., Jimmy, Maurice, and Billy; sisters, Frankie and Mary Ruth.

Survivors are his wife, Wanda Pierce Horton; sons, Matt, Michael, and Tim Horton; daughter, Heather Horton; brother, Ed Horton; sister, Betty Cordell; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Jimmy Horton, Jr., Mike Kumse, Stoney Huguley, Steve Benson, Dylan Pierce, and Larry Rogers. Honorary pallbearers are Pierce Murray, Devon Horton, Scotty Ryan, Lawrence Burnett, and Robert Ledford.
