Kathy June Young Jemison, age 72, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024. A graveside service will be Friday, July 12th at 2:00 pm at Alabama Heritage Cemetery in Montgomery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Frances Young; daughter, Misty Ann Jemison.
Survivors are her husband, Michael “Mike” Jemison; son, Michael Jemison, Jr. (Dana); grandchildren, Cristopher L. McCraine (Caitlyn) and Miranda Jemison; great-granddaughter, Riley Wren McCraine; sisters, Gwendolyn Ghrisham and Delilah Newton; several nieces and nephews.

It’s difficult to believe that sweet Kathy is gone to a better place. She certainly left her mark on all who came to know her and loved her and will be dearly missed. She never “put on airs”; she was just Kathy. I have been and will continue to pray for her loving family. God bless and love to you, Pat Moore (Archie)
