Gerald Lee “Jerry” Wilson age 84, of Florence, passed away on August 27, 2024.  A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Williams Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. till 3:00 P.M. with services at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel, with Kevin Johnson officiating.

He is preceded by his parents, James Gordy Wilson and Eva Ledbetter.  His brothers, James Robert Wilson and Ross Wilson.  His sisters, Brenda Wilson, Helen Stone and Jacquline Lucas.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 57 years Jimmie Lou Allen.  His daughter, Leigh Ann Wilson.  Two grandsons, Matthew and Andrew.  His brothers; John Wilson (Sandra) and Lanny (Becky). His sisters; Judy Rogers, Janice Shepherd (Mike), and Shirley Whitfield.

Jerry was born in Itawamba County, Mississippi.  A retired salesman, member of the First Baptist Church in Florence, a deacon and a member of the Lions Club. Jerry proudly served our country in the United States Army.
