I’ll miss “Aunt” Vernette. Sending condolences to her family. I am Myrtice Godsey Hood’s niece and I grew up singing Sacred Harp music and attended Friendship Church with Aunt Myrtice. We would often see Vernette at the decoration Sunday for the Friendship cemetery where Myrtice and her husband Henry Hood are buried. I recently chatted on the phone a couple of times and she shared her memories of her parents and grandparents. She was an amazing woman.
Hey guys, I’m so sorry to hear about y’all’s

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book
in it or something. I think that you can do with
some pics to drive the message home a bit, but
instead of that, this is excellent blog. A great read.
I’ll definitely be back.
Your style is unique in comparison to other folks
I have read stuff from. Many thanks for posting
when you’ve got the opportunity, Guess I will just bookmark this site.
