Allen Bernard Sharp age 91, of Florence, passed away on September 9, 2024, surrounded by family at home.  Visitation and services will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Williams Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. till 10:00 A.M. with services to follow at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel with William Etherid officiating.  Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be family and friends

He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Lola Jean Wallace Sharp.  Two brothers; Donald Glen Sharp and Elli B. Sharp Jr. His parents, the late Ellie B. Sharp Sr. and Irene Frances Vasser Sharp.  His nephew Anthony Sharp.  Sister-in-Laws; Betty Sharp, Betty Harrison, Martha Taylor and Marjorie Wallace.

Allen is survived by one daughter, Pamela Ann Lambert.  One son, Mark Allen Sharp (Janet).  One granddaughter, Jamie Sharp.  Sisters; Sarah Downey, Sandra Lawler (Billy) and Barbara Gann (Marvin).  And numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his special pet Bruno.

Allen was an avid sportsman, loved bowling, golfing, baseball, basketball and BAMA football. He served our country in the United States Army.
