Gloria Dean Flippo age 89 of Florence, AL, passed away on April 29, 2024.  Visitation will be at Williams Funeral Home on Thursday May 2, 2024, from 12:30 P.M. till 2:00 P.M.  Services at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel with Chris Weldon and Jeanette Sutton officiating.  A burial will follow at Jones Hill cemetery.  Pallbearers will be grandsons and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bob Flippo, parents, Curtis and Lois Waller, son Richard Flippo,  sister Nell Blackstock, brothers Curtis Waller Jr. and Carl Waller

Gloria is survived by sons Ed Flippo, Don Flippo (Deedee), daughter Donna Lee (Michael), grandkids, Courtney (Cody), Mallory (Randy), Hunter (Matilda), Ben (Haven), Chase (Jessica), Bethany (Ethan), Elliott (Emily), great grandkids:  Lily, Lucy, Jaxon, Sawyer, Beau, Cas, Lily, Cora, Evie, Beckham, Ava and Eli.  Sister Marilyn Price.

Gloria is a devoted Christian and a member of Cliff Haven for over 50 years.  She loved Jesus with all her heart.  She was a true prayer warrior, faithful and strong to the end.
