Cheryl L. Lansdell Carlsen, age 61, of Sheffield, Al., passed away Wednesday, February 21,2024. No service is scheduled at this time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dee and Sue Lansdell.
Survivors are her husband, Guy Carlsen; daughters, Deena Johnson, and Ashley Taylor (Nick); sons, Chance Calloway (Stephanie), and Vernon Guy Carlsen (Cindy); sisters, Billie Sue Nuby (Glenn), Debra Carr, and Angela Hamilton (Joe); seven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
Cheryl was a loving mother, sister and grandmother she will be greatly missed.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Cheryl and I sure had some good times growing up. We spent so many weekends at her house or mine. We practiced our clarinets together, swim team, fun at the skating rink, and she went camping with my family a lot. I’m so glad we reconnected this past year and were able to reminisce. She will always be a big part of my life. My condolences to her family.
We had a lot of good times together , from the skating rink every weekend at 14 years old to sleepovers, to being each others “date” for the High School reunions and going out on the town dancing & singing ! Good times ending too soon 🙁 We haven’t seen each other in a while and now I regret that we didn’t make time 🙁 but we will meet again and pick up where we left off <3
