Jacquline “Jackie” Janice Killen age 84, of Killen passed away on September 7, 2025.  Visitation and services will be held at Williams Funeral Home.  Visitation will be on Friday evening, September 12, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. visiting on Saturday will be 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. Miles Stutts officiating. Burial will be at Richardson Chapel Cemetery in Greenhill. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Zola Mae Ray. Her husband Bobby Gerald Killen.  Her brother, Sherrl Ray and sister Annie Roden.

Jacquline is survived by her three children:  Kerrie Holt, Glenn Killen, and Kimberly “Kim” Prince (Michael). And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jacquline was a member of Atlas Church of Christ and an active member of the Alabama Nursing Association. She dedicated 44 years to her career as a Registered Nurse, becoming the first certified nurse to serve in both the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit at the former ECM Hospital.

  1. I’m so sorry for the loss of mama K, she was instrumental in helping all of us band kids become the people we are today. Prayers for all her family during this time of grief. She will be greatly missed and will be forever remembered with love.

  4. Mama Killen was always so kind and loving. She was truly precious, and treated us all like we were her babies too-because we were. She showed up to support Ms. Killen and all her babies. Thank you for the memories and the love, Mama Killen. Your band babies love you.

  6. Mama K was one of a kind. She loved each and everyone of us it didn’t matter if we were in band a year or 7 years we were her babies. and she made sure we knew that. And Miss K know that Mama K raised a great lady just as she was also a great lady.. My heart goes out to you and your family .. with much love from me and Mama Shoe … We are truly sorry we cant be there but know we are there in spirit and we are just a phone call away .. ONCE A BAND BABY ALWAYS A BAND BABY..
