Brooklyn Celeste Carroll, 16, of Florence, passed away September 20, 2025. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 25, from 11:00 – 2:00 pm at Wilson High School Gymnasium, with the service following at 2:00 pm, officiated by Bobby Carroll and Donnie Carroll. Burial will take place at a location deeply cherished by the family and especially meaningful to Brooklyn. Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Danny Carroll, Blake Latham, Michael Parrish, Kyle Michael, DJ Turpan, Daniel Aday, and Memphis Parrish. Honorary pallbearers will be Levi Fell, Isaiah Fell, Brandon Fell, Braylan Hesley, Jordan Steele, Lucas Allison, Roberto Sauceda, Zachary Vines, Rhyley Cooper, Mike Parrish, and Joe Carroll.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Berl and Joyce Burbank, William Parrish, Linda Black, Malcom and Girdie Carroll; and uncle, Mike Carroll.

Brooklyn is survived by her mother, Lyndsay Carroll (Blake Latham); father, Danny Joe Carroll (Laken); grandparents, Mike and Christine Parrish, Joe and Jennifer Carroll, Robin Fruend; and great-grandfather, Floyd Black. Additional survivors include Brooklyn’s brothers and sisters, Madisyn Carroll, Brantley Latham, Ryder Latham, Paxden Latham and Emma Shea.

Brooklyn loved her family and friends. She enjoyed going to Wilson High School and was involved in wrestling, softball, Mu Alpha Theta, and the Key Club.

  5. My deepest condolences to you and your family and the community, to anyone who knew her and loved her. I remember her as a little tiny thing visiting us at Applebee’s. I know you are in pain. Nothing anyone can say could take that way, but just know you are loved.

  6. I met Brooklyn once, when I first moved to Central. She was kind to me, and I was sad to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this hard time.
