Noma Doris Herston Hendrix, age 83, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Visitation will be Tuesday, January14th from 6:00 pm until 8:00pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Wednesday, January 15^th at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Reggie Bruce officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Herson and Reba Brewer; husband, Walter Hendrix, Sr.; daughter, Mary Lindsey; son, Walter Hendrix, Jr.; grandson, William Lindsey; sister, Nancy Hill; brothers, Gene and Roland Herston.

Survivors are her son, Wendell Muse (Robin); daughter, Thenia Allen; grandchildren, Johnathan Muse, Holis Lindsey, Thomas Muse; Zummer Allen, Amber Hendrix, and Steven Hendrix; great-grandchildren, Conner and Caden Muse, Alicia Carroll, Olive Muse, and Sebastian Edington.

Noma was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. She loved Atlanta Braves, crossword puzzles, Fox News, and Hallmark movies.
