Birdie Mae May age 77, of Florence, passed away on December 3, 2025.  Visitation and services will be held Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Williams Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until 2:00pm with services to follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Murphy Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Odie Brown, R.D. Brown, Gene Glaer, Ben Brown Jr., BooBoo Brown, and Charlie Butler.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Mujllen, Hunter Ray, Dalton Norval, Kevente Rhodes and Jaqucvis Rhodes.

She was preceded in death by her husband Louie Wayne May;  sisters, Sissy Brown, Geraldine Brown, and Irene Brown; brothers, William Brown and Ledford Brown.

Birdie is survived by her daughter, Nancy May; siblings, R.D. Brown, Ben Brown, Odie Brown, and Midge Miller; grandchildren, Krystal Coats, Nicole Coats, and Rebecca Oliver. Additional survivors include great-grandchildren, Kellie, Violet, Nick, Angel, Conner, Amy, Mya, Jayden, Leon, and Zoe; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
