Katelin Danielle Murphy, age 33, of Florence, passed away on December 12, 2025. Visitation and services will be held at Williams Funeral Home on December 18, 2025. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm. Services will follow in the chapel at 2:00pm with Larry Burbank officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Tabor cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Gibson, Caleb Gibson, David Gibson, Austin Murphy, Shane Keeton, and Christian Morales. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrel Murphy and Eli Gibson.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents David A. Murphy and Barbara S. Hubbard.
Katelin is survived by her mother Letha M. Gibson. Father John D. Gibson. Children: Eli Murphy Gibson and Mila Morales. Brothers and sisters: Christina M. Keeton (Shane), David Gibson, Austin Murphy (Lacey), and Caleb Gibson. Her grandmother Nora Gibson, cousins, and friends. Uncles: Darrel Murphy, Eric Delia, Lance Delia and Jay Gibson (Ashley). Aunt, Amber Delia. And her nephews: Emmett Smith, Jackson Murphy and Brycen Keeton.
Katelin is a loving Mother, and her children were her entire world. She was currently taking college courses to achieve a degree in Psychology to later become a therapist so she could one day help others. Katelin was loved by everyone. She had the best sense of humor, was kind and gentle, and had a way of making people feel comfortable and cared for. She was always willing to help, if you needed it, and she had it, you got it. She faced illness from a very young age, yet carried herself with so much calm, strength and grace. Her faith meant everything to her. We find comfort in knowing she is now whole, free from pain, rejoicing in heaven, and dancing with Jesus.

Letha, I remember you and your brother Daryl from Macedonia Church of Christ years ago. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family and loved ones and may God’s peace and comfort be with you all.

We are so sorry for your loss. I know her suffering is over and she is in her heavenly home. I know those precious children will miss their mom, but they know she is with Jesus . And so many will love them and care for them for many years to come.
