Buford McCoy “Coy” Fulmer, age 70, of Florence, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Williams Funeral Home of Florence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Cloris Fulmer; brother, Robert E. Fulmer, Jr; sister, Donna Fulmer; niece, Maggie Grace Duncan whom he adored more than anything and was a great “papaw” to her.
Survivors are his brother, Christopher Fulmer (Kimberly Terrell); Lela Gillis (Joe); nieces, Ranzi Aday and Savanna Gillis; nephews, Will Terrell and Warren Terrell; his Divas, Uggi and Daisey Mae (Fur babies).
Coy Boy was a life member of Faith Church and was well known in the area. He never met a stranger and always made lasting impressions on everyone he met. His first love was music and songwriting. He was also a small business owner and employed many, especially young aspiring musicians. Coy loved and was loved by so many in this area.

I am saddened to hear about the death of my cousin, Coy. It has been many, many years that I have seen him. I didn’t grow up around that side of the family but he was always kind to me and my mom, which I will never forget. May he rest in peace.
