July 3, 1954 - February 13, 2025

Buford McCoy “Coy” Fulmer, age 70, of Florence, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Williams Funeral Home of Florence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Cloris Fulmer; brother, Robert E. Fulmer, Jr; sister, Donna Fulmer; niece, Maggie Grace Duncan whom he adored more than anything and was a great “papaw” to her.

Survivors are his brother, Christopher Fulmer (Kimberly Terrell); Lela Gillis (Joe); nieces, Ranzi Aday and Savanna Gillis; nephews, Will Terrell and Warren Terrell; his Divas, Uggi and Daisey Mae (Fur babies).

Coy Boy was a life member of Faith Church and was well known in the area. He never met a stranger and always made lasting impressions on everyone he met. His first love was music and songwriting. He was also a small business owner and employed many, especially young aspiring musicians. Coy loved and was loved by so many in this area.

  4. I am saddened to hear about the death of my cousin, Coy. It has been many, many years that I have seen him. I didn’t grow up around that side of the family but he was always kind to me and my mom, which I will never forget. May he rest in peace.

  5. My employer at age 18 when I committed to the US Navy..He will ALWAYS have a place in my heart and I’ll cherish his brotherhood..GODSPEED Brother..I’ll see you again 1 SWEET DAY 🙏❤️

  6. I always enjoyed my visits with Coy when his Dust Busters associates were working at my house. He was helpful to our family in so many ways, always thoughtful, kind, and cheerful.
