Norman Ray Head, age 62, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025 after an extended illness. Visitation will be Saturday May 3rd, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 3:00 pm in the Funeral Home chapel with Brother Jim Thacker and Christopher Walker officiating. The burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Austin Balentine, Christopher Walker, Jeff Sandusky, David Taylor, Michael Dawson, and Alisa Balentine.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Head; mother, Wanda Perkins; brother, Billy Taylor.
Survivors are his loving wife of 31 years, Sharon Head; son, Christopher Walker (Jennifer); daughter, Anber Grim (Russell); mother-in-law, Elaine Gabel; sisters, Donna Staggs and Sheila Head-Bojovic; brothers, David Taylor and Wesley Perkins; sisters-in-law, Debby Gabel Balentine and Norma Sandusky (Jeff); grandchildren, Lukas, Michael, and Elisha Walker; several nieces and nephews.
Norman attended The Dwelling Place in Florence and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
