Billy Wayne Keener, 58, of Tuscumbia, passed away on February 12, 2026. He was born on July 12, 1967. Visitation and services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Williams Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 pm with services to begin at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will follow at Shaw cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Billy Ray Cozart; mother, Gail Keener; beloved cousin, Jonathan Green; great-nephew, Nikeli; grandparents; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Billy is survived by father, R.E. Keener; daughters, Jessica Knalls and Stella-Rae; grandsons, Bryson, Brayden (Zoe), Brodie, Boston, and Brantley; and great-grandson, Robert Eli. His sister, Teresa (Russ); brother, Ron; sisters, Sharon and Debera; four aunts; three uncles; niece, Raiana; nephews, RJ, Donovan, Bailey and Taylor; great-nephews, Kai and K’Naan; great-nieces, Miami, Meja, Willow, and Meadow. And a host of friends.
Billy was loved by all who knew him. He had a one-of-a-kind personality and possessed a remarkable ability to make others laugh. His humor and warmth will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
Billy spent many years working as a carpenter, roofer, and floor installer. He was a jack of all trades, known for his strong work ethic, skilled hands, and creative mind. Outside of work, he enjoyed tinkering with small engines and vehicles, often bringing his own unique ideas and creations to life.
Billy will be remembered for his laughter, his craftsmanship, his creativity, and the deep love he had for his family.
