Joe Ellis Atkinson Sr., age 54 of Spruce Pine, Alabama passed away on February 26, 2026. Services will be held privately. Williams Funeral Home of Florence in charge of arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Gerome Atkinson and his mother, Carolyn Sue Himes.
Joe is survived by his wife Linda Atkinson. His children: Joe and Jaxton Atkinson, Jasper Kokales, and his stepdaughter Donna Richie (Scott). Two brothers, Vernon Dwayne Atkinson (Kim) and Joshua Jerome Atkinson. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
