Wade Arthur Clemmons, age 61, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 7th, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel with Brother Johnny McGuire officiating. Burial will be at Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery.
Hew was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ann Clemmons.
Survivors are his loving wife of 32 years, Vickie Clemmons; daughter, Erin Gray (Gregg) and son, Taylor Schweighardt; grandboys, Bryant and Tyson.
He was employed with Atomic Transport in Decatur, Alabama and was an avid Alabama sports fan.

Wade was always a joy to be around. I don’t think I have ever seen him mad. Upset maybe, but never out right mad.
Vicky, I know this is a very hard time. I am praying for all of you. Wade always a positive and upbeat person. He was sensitive and compassionate.
