Phillip Wade Thornton, age 63, of Sheffield, passed away April 5, 2021.Ā The family will receive friends at their residence on Thursday, April 8, from 3:00 ā 6:00 p.m.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Marilyn Aday Thornton; children, Amanda DuBois (Rich), Wade Thornton and Shawn Thornton; bonus child, Lindsey Thompson; and grandchildren, Brent League, Aidan League, Katie DuBois, Kathy DuBois and Richard DuBois.
He was a loving father and grandfather, and was totally devoted to his wife.Ā Phillip was always the life of the party.Ā He loved collecting guns and building model cars and planes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

I remember Phillip from High School. A great man, we always had a blast. He loved fast cars, playing music, I’ll never forget the first ride I took in his 1956 Chevrolet. Prayers for the family.
