Yvonne "Von" Holt
Gerhart
September 16, 1937 - April 8, 2021
Yvonne “Von” Holt Gerhart, age 83, passed away suddenly on April 3, 2021. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Tri Cities Memorial Gardens at 1:00 pm. Pastor Bob Gulley will be officiating.
Mrs. Gerhart was born on September 16, 1937 in Clifton, Tennessee to Murray and Olive Goodman Holt. She attended Florence State Teacher’s College (UNA) and earned a B.S. degree in Music Education. She taught music in public schools for a number of years, before an accident caused her to lose her hearing. Even through loss of hearing, she was a phenomenal pianist. Her love for worship and the Word was of vital importance to her daily life. She and her husband were ministers and traveled the U.S. giving a message of hope and encouragement to everyone they met. Yvonne had a prophetic calling and was a tremendous prayer warrior. Although she never regained her hearing, she was very perceptive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. She had a gentle, quiet, and giving nature yet was very bold when speaking the Word and praying for others needs.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Murray and Olive Goodman Holt; and her husband, Robert E. Gerhart, Sr. She is survived by her son, Paul Riley and granddaughter Faith; her step children, Robert Gerhart, Jr. (Rhonda), Melinda Graham (David), and step granddaughter, Lauren Graham.
She is also survived by one brother, David M. Holt (Rose) and one sister, Nancy Holt Wilson (Jim); nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Our deepest sympathy for the family.
Yvonne spoke many times at High Point Church in Macon, Ga. with her beloved Bob, when my late husband, Don Van Hoozier, was pastor there for many, many years. We loved them. Now she is with them and her Jesus in Heaven, but she will be missed on earth. Prayers for the family.
Yvonne and her husband Bob ministered profoundly to the Body of Christ. I was privileged to witness others being blessed as well as being deeply blessed myself. How heaven rejoices as she steped through the portals and spent her first Easter in the physical presence of Jesus. Though we miss her, we, too, rejoice.
Former mother in law. She will be missed dearly by myself, Faith Yvonne, & Paul.
I’m thankful we had our last few conversations before she went home to the Lord.
