Olivia Rhiannon
Perry
July 3, 1999 - June 2, 2021
FLORENCE, AL — Olivia Rhiannon Perry, 21, left this life on June 2, 2021. Her family will host a visitation with friends and family Sunday, June 6, 2-4 pm, at Magnolia Church of Christ, 2650 Vulcan Ave., Florence. A memorial service/celebration of life to share stories and memories will immediately follow.
Olivia was born on July 3, 1999, in Florence. A 2017 graduate of Florence High School as a four-year member of Connection Show Choir, and with an Advanced Diploma, FAFA certification in chorus, and honor cords for International Thespian Society, she was a nursing student at UNA with plans to graduate with a BSN in December.
Olivia was a loving, gentle person whose devotion to nursing came from her deep desire to help those in need. Despite the intensity of the nursing program, she held down several part-time jobs during her schooling, regularly made the UNA Dean’s List and was a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. In her free time, Olivia loved to dance, drink coffee, and snuggle her amazing rescue dog, Cleo.
Olivia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dean and Martha Perry, Thomas Whitfield, and Johnie Carter; father, Brooke Perry; and nephew, Todd Miller. She is survived by her mother, Amanda Perry; two brothers, Nick Miller (Chasity) and Ian Perry; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and all the amazing and loving friends she had in her life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Olivia’s honor can be made to the Florence/Lauderdale Animal Shelter. In addition, the family plans to set up a scholarship at UNA in her name with details to follow.

I was so lucky to work alongside Olivia in Show Choir, Competition Show Choir, Theatre, and countless fine arts related trips. She was always so kind and always found a way to spin kindness and joy as best as she could. She will be dearly missed. Sending my sincerest condolences to all family and friends of this amazing human being.
Amanda, Nick and Ian,
I don’t even have words to say how sorry I am and how my heart hurts for you all. I have so many memories of her at the office and her wonderful smile. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers today and in the days and months ahead. Rest in peace Olivia.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. She was a valued friend always to myself and my entire family. Olivia always had a smile and made my day better at work and even when she worked at the bank. I saw her weekly and she always had something sweet to say every time I saw her. Olivia will be missed. I am saddened. There are no words that can express how much she will be missed by my family , my children and everyone her joy and her smile touched daily.
I met Olivia while she was in rotation at Decatur Morgan West. She was the sweetest soul. We instantly became friends as we talked about so many different things. She will be missed. I am so sorry for the loss.
Heartfelt condolences to your family…I only knew Olivia in passing as we were neighbors down the street from Mrs. Johnie. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you journey through this grief process. It is so hard to comprehend as we lost my husband’s 2 sons within 18 months of each other.
Cling to the beautiful memories that Olivia graced each of you with in this lifetime. I appreciated getting to know her through the memories and stories shared in the service online this afternoon; God’s Speed, Olivia.
